Michelle Steele
Health & Safety Division Chief
With 29 years of service, Michelle has served as an Infection Control Nurse and Peer Support member for over 20 years.
Humberto Quintela
Health and Safety Officer
Chief Humberto J. Quintela has been with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for 24 years. He has been involved in training and programmatic development of the MDFR Peer Support, Chaplaincy as well as the Crisis Response K-9 programs since 2021
Jose Chavarria
Health / Crisis Counselor
Jose joined the MDFR family in 2024 and has worked in the mental health field since 2016. As the Health & Crisis Counselor, he provides free, confidential mental health counseling to all MDFR personnel and their families

FF Montego Estes has been with MDFR since 2004. He spent 20 years in operations and became a member of peer support and K-9 peer support in 2019.
